Let's Talk

Our

Thesis

Drive innovation across the Bittensor ecosystem with a multi-cycle investment approach.
Our investment thesis emphasises the long-term value opportunity presented by Bittensor’s decentralised and incentivised commodities marketplace. We recognise Bittensor as both a significant source of value for investors and as ecosystem that we consider is an essential requirement in driving innovation in tomorrow’s future.

Our involvement ranges from driving competition with miners and ensuring integrity with our validators to building AI applications and fostering real-world commercial partnerships to bring the value of Bittensor to the broader market. We are committed to a longterm investment approach aimed at contributing and propagating the success of Bittensor, with the ultimate goal of helping it reach its full potential and realise vision of truly decentralising AI.

Gyles Foster

Co-Founder

Gyles brings 12 years of commercial leadership experience to the team, culminating in his role at Crosslake Technologies, a solutions-driven global technology advisory firm catering to private equity investors. At Crosslake, Gyles focused on technology due diligence, digital transformation strategy, and data and technology value creation. Throughout his tenure, he supported over 45 mid-market transactions ranging from £10M to £700M across EMEA.

During his time at Crosslake, Gyles realised that many mid-market companies were not prepared for the potential impact of AI, particularly in understanding how the cost and barriers to entry did not need to be prohibitive due to open-source options. This realisation ignited his passion to facilitate these conversations using the Bittensor network as the backbone of decentralised infrastructure. Gyles had been a long-term personal supporter of the project since early 2023, making him well-suited to drive this initiative forward.

Jack Foster

co-founder

Jack has extensive experience in technology consulting and data science. He began his career consulting for technology businesses, focusing on maximising the value of technology solutions, before earning a master's degree in Data Science. Following his studies, Jack worked across roles in both consulting and product settings. His career has provided him with deep insights into data-driven decision-making and a broad view of the tech industry's challenges. His fascination with the value delivered through open-source technology, and AI in particular, sparked his interest in Bittensor, a network that fosters decentralised intelligence and AI development.

Jack's dedication to exploring advanced technologies uniquely positions him to lead initiatives that leverage cutting-edge tools to tackle data and technology challenges. He aims to bring this experience to the Bittensor ecosystem to help drive innovation forward.
